Easter Fun at RHS Wisley Garden (1 – 19th April)
Spring has sprung and you can join in for some holiday fun at RHS Wisley with a variety of activities to choose from.The Easter bunny has hidden several giant eggs all around the garden for children of all ages to discover. There are also craft workshops taking place in the CLORE Learning Centre. From sowing a carrot seed to grow at home, to making a daffodil plant label, or an Easter bunny paper hat, you will be able to take home your creations and lots of ideas! Little gardeners may even want to join the fun and lively storytelling sessions!
British Wildlife Centre (2 – 24th April)
With their collection of over forty different species of native wild animals and a team of knowledgeable keepers, the British Wildlife Centre offers the ideal venue to learn about Britain’s own wonderful wildlife.Their informative talks are a great way to get the most from your visit, giving you the chance of seeing the animals up close, whilst learning more about them. Talks take place every half an hour and last about 15 minutes, so there’s always something to see whatever the weather.This is a wonderful way for children to appreciate and respect Britain’s own wonderful native wild species, so that they may develop a life-long interest in the animal’s protection and survival.
The Limpsfield Cookery School (12th April)
With an Easter twist, this one-day cookery course is suitable for children over eightyears old. It is the perfect introduction to cookery, where they will be taken through a range of cooking techniques and dishes, including bread, mains and desserts, leaving your child to feel confident in the kitchen and able to easily replicate the recipes at home for family and friends! With any burgeoning Mary Berry’s in the family, a cookery class or two will allow the little ones to hone those talents and become the official family chef, making meals fit for a king or queen!
The Wild Explorers Holiday Club, Broughton Hall Estate (11 – 22nd April)
Explore nature, learn to build shelters and hunt for minibeasts! The Wild Explorers Holiday Club is jam-packed with different wildlife-themed activities that will give your child the opportunity to explore the wonderful woodland habitats of the Surrey Wildlife Trust’s private nature reserve, all under the guidance of their experienced staff. The Wild Explorers Holiday Club, aimed at 5-11 year olds, is the perfect place to embark on adventures, forge friendships and turn school holidays into lifelong memories!
Godstone Farm (14th April)
Godstone Farm have a variety of exciting activities to choose from including an Easter Grotto, guinea pig feeding, lamb and goat talks and a bug hunt. They also have a farm trail, rabbit walk and a ‘roaring’ dinosaur world. There is also the opportunity for your child to hold some of their favourite animals. With an indoor soft play area and extensive outdoor areas, you are sure to find something, rain or shine, for all the family! P.S. Don’t forget to get your wiggle on at the Bunny Hop Disco. There will activities, games, prizes and a picnic box for all little groovers!
The Savill Garden Nature Detective Trail (8 – 24th April)
This Easter holiday, visit Windsor Great Park and solve riddles and puzzles to discover more about the trees, plants and wildlife that live there. Grown-ups can get in on the action and work together to explore the life cycle of a tree and claim a Nature Detective badge for the children! You can collect your trail sheet from The Savill Garden Visitor Centre and don’t forget to stop by the gift shop for a range of Easter treats and spring delights.
Binfield Easter Egg Hunt (9 – 17th April)
Let’s go ‘eggsploring’! This Easter egg hunt is a wonderful opportunity for your child to practise their counting skills. With over 30 eggs to be found around the village, you can enjoy a family walk with cafes, shops and playgrounds along the way. Your child will also put their geography skills to the test as they follow the map along the way!
Young Shots Day at Bisley (21th April)
Young Shots at Bisley Shooting Ground offers the perfect environment to introduce junior shooters to the exciting sport of Clay Shooting. This exhilarating morning is a great way of introducing 10-16 year olds to Clay Pigeon Shooting. They will team up 5 juniors with an instructor and places can either be booked individually or with friends. Why not round up a group of friends for a day out with a difference?
The Wizard of Oz, Camberley Theatre (15th April)
Fly over the rainbow with this exciting adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic ‘The Wizard of Oz’, a classic that can be enjoyed by everyone! This spectacular, pantomimic, colourful story is packed with hilarious jokes, dazzling dance routines, glittering scenery and plenty more for all the family, plus at the end of the show you will have a chance to meet the larger than life characters!
EML Charters, Hamble (Open Daily)

Go Ape, Bracknell (Open Daily)
There’s lots of fun to be had at Go Ape Bracknell with five adventures to choose from including the Treetop Adventure, Forest Segway and Axe Throwing! They have all views of the forest covered from ground level to tree level. Climb your way around Swinley Forest on the Challenge course and be prepared for 2-3 hours of tree-to-tree obstacles designed to get the adrenaline pumping. Children can take their first steps into the canopy on their Treetop Adventure course complete with a Treetop Adventure Plus extension for older children to really test their limits!
